The internet is a wealth of information – good & bad. I can usually find links to support my mindset and choose to ignore the ones that don’t. Almost daily I peruse the Ethiopian Adoption forum managed by our agency, but I never participate. I read a few Ethiopian adoption blogs, but usually search more for specific issues about parenting the child that will be part of our family.

It seems people always love to read or hear about adoption stories. MPR features an option story related article at least once a month, as does the NYT’s. I attribute that to their listening demographic since the articles are mainly about international adoption, but it is interesting nonetheless. Recently, I have been following this blog series on the NYT’s. The stories are written from different perspectives and today Ethiopia was the focus.
